In Fiji’s widening drug crackdown, two names keep surfacing: Jone Vakarisi and a figure known as “King Khan.” Authorities have already moved against “King Khan” over alleged unexplained wealth, while Vakarisi’s death in custody has triggered calls for a full, independent investigation.

Alongside the legal developments, images circulating online have sparked a different kind of speculation. Both Jone Vakarisi and Imran Khan were known to wear yellow and black — colours widely linked to the organsied crime syndicate, the Comanchero bikies.The Comancheros are a well-known transnational outlaw group with a history tied to organised crime across Australia and the region.

Sam Amine is known to Australian Police as the mastermind behind drug importations for the Comancheros. Amine was the Fiji liaison guy and recruited Vakarisi and Khan in his syndicate.
